When did you last send a “Thank You” card or note to thank friends or family?

There are just times when a fountain pen is the only tool for the job! It even encourages you to try cursive handwriting from school days. Do children learn cursive writing at school now?

Our personalised notebooks are handmade in our workshop with care and attention to detail. The notebooks make great gifts for children and adults, or treat yourself.
The notebook covers can have text, photo or full page printed cover with a transparent plastic outer cover on the front and the back to protect the design and the notepad. Each notepad also has a cardboard layer at the back to create a smooth writing surface, find out more.
Receiving a handwritten letter from a friend is wonderful, you can keep the letter and re-read over many years.
Sara recently taught her 12 year old niece how to write a letter, address an envelope, buy stamps and how to post a letter – this appears to be a dying art form as so many things are driven by technology.
If you have children, please take 15 minutes to teach them how to write/send a letter or why not surprise a friend or family with a letter.
Sara likes to collect postcards from antique shops – they offer a delightful insight into the past, some of the postcards are over 100 years old. Writing a letter or postcard would have been one of the main forms of communication before the use of the telephone became popular. Usually written with a fountain pen they are fascinating to read. We will be featuring more antique postcards on our website.
